The warranty policy is hereby formulated to standardize the after-sales service terms and conditions, thus enhancing customers' product experience.
SECTION 1 – PRE-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before installation, please place the film in a closed dust-free workshop with sufficient lighting environment for a comprehensive, detailed inspection.
2. Open the package, remove the PP bag, observe the end face to check whether the rolling is flat. If there are obvious defects on the surface of the film, please contact us in time.
3. Put the film vertically on the plastic plug with the presence of two people, tear off the sealing tape, pull out 3-5 meters of the film towards the light to check the film surface.
4. If there are obvious defects on the film surface for 3-5 meters, please remove the whole resist film for a full inspection. If the defected film is more than 5 meters, please contact us immediately and do not install.
SECTION 2 – WARRANTY INSTRUCTIONS
KPAL warranty services are valid only under one of the following situations:
1. Loss of glossiness: the loss of glossiness on the film surface, resulting in a dull surface.
2. Cracking: embrittlement and cracking of the film surface.
3. Degumming: automatic detachment of the adhesive layer and the original film layer during the normal service period.
4. Obvious rain stains: obvious irremovable marks on the film surface caused by the rain.
5. Obvious defects on the surface: obvious defects found before installation covered in warranty services are limited to the following situations: white spots, obvious foreign objects, creases (except the marks pressed by tube bottom), and obvious diagonal stripes.
6. Yellowing issue: the obvious yellowing of the film surface. The slight yellowing(∆ E<2) of the product is a normal phenomenon and is not covered in warranty services.
SECTION 3 – AFTER-SALES SERVICE PROCESS
1. Provide the corresponding model and lot number of the product with detailed description of the problem.
2. Provide pictures and videos of front view, side view, full vehicle view of film issues. For front view pictures, it is necessary to mark the defected parts in the picture. Take pictures as many as possible and count the actual meters of the defected film.
3. KPAL will confirm whether the problem is covered in warranty within 5 working days after getting feedback. After confirmation, KPAL will compensate with products of the same model according to the compensation standards and period stated in this specification, and the shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
4. Compensation standards: All the situations stated in this specification are compensated in accordance with the actual defected meters of the film at the compensation ratio of 1:1.
5. Compensation period: Compensation products will be shipped within 1 month or together with the new order.
SECTION 3 – DISCLAIMER
1. Vehicles installed with paint protection film should be cleaned once a week.
2. The product should be professionally cleaned and maintained every 3 months.
3. Special solvents such as strong acids and alkali, as well as carburetor cleaning machines, should be kept away from the film surface.
4. The warranty services for 6 situations stated in SECTION 2 are valid only if the product is used normally, except extremely severe environment and extremely wrong usage.
5. Strictly follow the product manual for operation. Before installation, the whole resist film should be removed for inspection. Compensation of the entire roll is unavailable except for yellowing issue.
6. Corrosion, scratches, bubbles of film surface are not covered in warranty.
7. Damage due to improper maintenance, man-made sabotage, geological disasters and other force majeure factors is not covered in warranty.
